Find Happiness In The Little Things In Your Life
Life is complex, that is what we know and that is what we believe. We often wonder about the reason behind our existence, which is still a mystery to us. Such a mystery would baffle even great detectives, like Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie’s Poirot. We are so busy running after fame, success, and money that we forget about the important things in our life along the way.
There used to be a time, long ago, when ordinary people like you and me, used to be content with whatever they had. It didn’t matter if they were living a luxurious life or suffering with immense poverty, they just strode through life with a smile and no desire for more paper in their pockets.
As the times change, so do we. Our needs keep increasing, our pockets get lighter, and our happiness diminishes by the hour.
“You have one life, try to make the most of it”
Stop worrying about everything and start loving all the little moments that happen in your life.
Find happiness in that cute little baby’s laugh that you crossed on the street. Find happiness in the feeling you get when you eat amazing food. Find happiness in the feeling you get when you sit down and put your feet up back home after a long tiring day. Find happiness in the love and relief you see shining on your partner’s face when they see you at the end of the day, as if they hadn’t seen you in years.
Find happiness when you see your friends after a long time and share stories. Find happiness in other people’s happiness, in their beauty, in their love. Find happiness in all that friendly gossip. Find happiness in the kind smile that you get from a stranger passing by. Find happiness by just being in the moment, doing nothing.
Find happiness by pursuing your passion and your talents, fall in love with your life. Travel, eat, and relax. Throw your worries out the window. Grab a book and start reading. Buy a journal. Listen to music. Spend some quality time with your family, you will find peace in their happiness and a bond that can never break. Do whatever that makes you happy.
All these little moments make up what we call life. It isn’t complicated. It is simple. It is sweet. It is a privilege.
Once you imprint this in your mind and your soul, you will never be sad ever again. Who knows? There might be something incredible waiting for you, right around the corner.
